Denmark’s Most Beautiful Festival is based on enthusiasm!
From the early beginning in 1980 till today, the Skanderborg Festival Club has been independent of commercial and political interests. The successive committees have unhesitatingly and at any time been focusing determined on THE FESTIVAL! The objective of the club – a club with more than 10,000 paying members – is first and foremost to arrange Denmark’s Most Beautiful Festival in Skanderborg.
We are not obliged to make profit for specific persons or companies; we can use all our energy to give the audience value for the money.
In case of extra funds or energy, the club supports the local music and cultural life in the Skanderborg area. Among the results are many large concerts and good rehearsal facilities for the local musicians.
We do not want to make the festival larger geographically, but we do not see any limits as to how fun, wild or exciting we can make the entertainment. We are in close dialogue with several business enterprises who as sponsors help us fulfil our endeavours: to create the plenitude of a beautiful festival!
We call it anti-everyday and you should try it, you will only get even more beautiful!
Don’t forget: Music is for the soul, trees and plants are for light and air, children are for love and Denmark’s Most Beautiful Festival is the 2nd weekend of August each and every year.
